Halo 16.1 introduces new data modeling options, big data connections and user experience enhancements

Halo (halobi.com) announced today the release of Halo 16.1, Halo’s supply chain intelligence software suite that helps companies gain greater visibility and insight to their operational performance. This latest product enhancement is designed to provide further data modeling options, big data connections and user experience enhancements. The Halo Predict component is evolving rapidly to allow for managers to make better and informed decisions within Sales and Operations. Understand how sales promotions will affect future sales, commodity prices will affect costs and profit and how weather patterns could disrupt transportation and delivery.

Key technical features also include:
SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular Support – Halo supports Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular and Multi-Dimensional formats. Providing the flexibility for developers and IT to have different options when it comes to which data model to use according to business needs.
Azure Data Warehouse – Connect to Azure Data Warehouse directly from Halo to extract data or add data to an Azure Data Warehouse environment.
Halo for Demand Forecasting – Halo’s predictive forecasting capabilities have been extended. Apply important business drivers such as sales promotions, commodity prices or weather patterns to sales figures to get a clear and accurate forecast.
Alerting – Be notified immediately of an important change within the data. Monitor items such as safety stock, customer service levels or machinery capacity.
Enhanced Executive Dashboards – Improved ways to create and visualize executive level dashboards giving insight into the entire organization with Key Performance Indicator displays, rapid data refresh and new visualization options.
